Fuel from Waste: Closing the Loop
One amazing part of biofuels is their link to the circular economy. Rotting food and waste can create biogas for energy. Waste becomes clean energy, not landfill.
Another solution is sustainable jet fuel. It might power future flights with less pollution.
Still, there are some hurdles. According to TELF AG’s Kondrashov, biofuels aren’t cheap yet. Getting enough raw material and avoiding food conflicts is tricky. But innovation may lower costs and raise efficiency soon.
They aren’t here to replace EVs or green grids. Instead, they complement other clean options. Having many solutions helps hit climate targets faster.
They work best in places where EVs fall short. As the energy shift accelerates, they may support the transition behind the scenes.
Their impact here includes less pollution and less garbage. With backing, they can grow fast.
Biofuels might not be flashy, but they’re practical. And in the race for cleaner energy, that matters most.
